5. Blackwater River Flows south from Surry Co. through South
Hampton Co. to its confluence with the Nottoway to form the
Chowan River at the N. Carolina border. Access points can be
found on Rts. 611, 603, 258 and in Franklin, VA.
6. North Landing River Flows south though Chesapeake and is part
of the Intracoastal Waterway.
7. Meherrin River Flows from the Emporia Dam south through
