When you leave the landing at Whitehurst you go left and head into the canal to the left. It leads to a railroad crossing. There are some pipes you have to go under. When the water is low it is fairly easy. If the water is high it naturally is a little tougher. When going under the bridges, keep low, take your time and you should be fine. If you're afraid of spiders you may want to stay in Whitehurst. It doesn't take long to go from one to the other. I'm sure if a few boats head out that way it will take a little while. Hopefully those that know what they're doing will go first to speed up the process. There is nothing more aggravating than to have to sit there and watch someone try to accomplish something and they have no idea what they're doing. So take my advice, if you've never done it before let others that know how go first. Pay attention to what they do and you should be fine. I hope this answers your questions.
