It was meant to be fun, but turned into an aggravation. The biggest problem was...some anglers just would not fish outside of their favorite waters. I heard complaints about it, I had rules in place to correct it, (when anglers couldn't agree on a body of water) but when the two anglers agreed and fished I couldn't do anything after the fact. I think it was too spread out, by that I mean we gave everyone too many options. If someone were to run it again, say out in Suffolk using the four lakes out there it could work. Also if I were to run one strictly on the Northwest River it would work. Then you would have guys signing up to fish their preferred waters. James I believe you could run one out in Suffolk. You can use my format and rules. I used someone elses and tweaked some things. I may suggest this to Dennis out at Bob's Fishing Hole. I've got my hands full right now with a project to take combat veterans fishing on October 4th. Get sponsors lined up, accepting donations, signing volunteers up. We're gonna have a huge blowout on October 4th at the Cove Marina on NAB Little Creek. My flyer will be coming out soon.
